The Gold Medal of Lorenzo the Magnificent for Piotr Barszczowski from Tarnów

Great news coming from the 13th Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence – Piotr Barszczowski, received the Gold Medal of Lorenzo the Magnificent [Lorenzo Il Magnifico Award] in the multimedia arts category, for the work “The Last Supper XXI” presented at the Biennale. Congratulations to the winner of the prestigious award! What is more, Piotr Barszczowski received also the “Visitor Award” at the Biennale!

This year’s Florence Biennale was held between 23 and 31 October. The international jury and the organizers appreciated the echoes of the Renaissance and female motifs in the neo-stained-glass “Last Supper XXI”. The awarded work is permanently exhibited in the Petrus Hall of the Benedictine monastery in Tyniec in Krakow.
