The purpose of the contest was to distinguish places where the privileges of pregnant women are respected, and their requests and expectations are met. The contest “Different State – Different Treatment” has come up with ten places in Poland, which are the most hospitable to expecting women. The Internet poll and judges have decided on the results of the contest. It was the third edition of the campaign aimed at distinguishing places where expecting women’s rights are always honored.

The prizes of the contest are the title “A Place Hospitable to a Mum-to-be” and the right to use a symbol (pictogram) of the campaign “Different State – Different Treatment”.

The Tourist Information Centre in Tarnów is a place hospitable to expecting women. Its a convenient resting place with fresh water supply. There are also many amenities for families with children, like diaper-changing stations, a bed for a small child and the possibility of heating up the food.

This is another title awarded to Tourist Information Centre in Tarnów, following “a bike-friendly place” and “”clean business”. In both 2008 and 2010 TIC won contests for the best tourist information in Poland.
