Wooden Architecture App

Wooden Architecture Route in Malopolska Region encompasses over 250 historic buildings of timber construction so distinctive to the Polish landscape and fortunately well preserved, especially in Malopolska. The Route connects picturesque Roman Catholic churches and beautiful Orthodox temples; slender bell towers; Old-Polish Style manors; stand-alone houses and open-air museums – the most precious monuments of folk material culture. Eight of the sites en route are recognized the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of those, church of St Leonard in Lipnica Murowana is the one closest to Tarnow.

Wooden Architecture Route is the initiative of the Malopolska Region, supervised and maintained by the Malopolska Tourist Organization www.drewniana.malopolska.pl

Tarnów. Wooden Architecture Application describes 100 interesting places located in the vicinity of Tarnów, including all 46 sites (churches, granaries, houses and manors) that compose the 'Tarnow and its surroundings' stretch of the Wooden Architecture Route in Malopolska.
