Tarnów's Old Town is the most beautiful in Małopolska!
The contest for the most beautiful Old Town in Małopolska is over. For six weeks, twenty-nine cities competed for the title.
Tarnów received the highest amount of votes - 27246. Stary Sącz was second, and Niepołomice was third, with 21456 and 11076 votes respectively. The contest was organized by NaszeMiasto.pl Internet portal, and was supported by Tarnów City Council and Tourist Information Centre in Tarnów.
Once again this year, the inhabitants of Tarnów have shown that they love their city. This year, Tarnów was successful in several Internet contests: the Google Street View Contest (Tarnów's Old Town was photographed by a Google Trike in October), and among the winners of Wielkie Odkrywanie Małopolski (Discovering Małopolska Region) contest were Mościce (the garden district of Tarnów), Tatrzańska Restaurant and the Solar System Fountain.
