Before the journey you should get yourself a health insurance. In Poland citizens of some countries are in immediate medical care on the ground of international agreements.
In case of emergency call 999 (a toll-free number of the medical emergency service) or 112 (emergency).
Medicines are available at the chemist's. Most drugs are on doctor's prescription only.
